In New Orleans, we love a beautiful moody wedding. Part of the New Orleans charm is that we have so many historic dwellings that give way to the “antique” vibe so coveted in the moody wedding landscape. Lucky for us, many of these examples of gorgeous historic architecture are also available as wedding venues throughout town. One of our favorites is the stunning Peter and Paul Hotel. A world-renowned boutique hotel that also has a jaw-dropping converted church that acts as a reception space for couples seeking sky-high ceilings, religious iconography, and a patina to die for. This wedding, designed by our friends over at Lonney Jane Productions has bold rich colors and elegant, sultry tablescapes for this intimate seated dinner. Our couple wanted tons of tulips in their design which has a heavy leaning on the bud vase aesthetic throughout their table designs. We were happy to accommodate this request and build a beautiful jewel-toned palette that is so perfectly suited for the space.
Romantic lighting provided by Firefly Ambiance really sets the tone for the evening, while the decor design is rounded out by beautiful pieces from Distressed Rentals. To top it all off, a gorgeous little cake, that was surely delicious provided by the one and only Bittersweet Confections. What a great design for a fabulous couple!
