There is nothing more exciting for us as floral designers than to perform a rich color palette that we don’t get to tackle very often. Jennifer and Michael’s wedding fit that bill to a tea! Their captivating color palette had every shade of purple available and was accented by a gorgeous mauve hue that toned the range, making it as sophisticated as it is bold. The floral selection included stunning Vanda Rothschildiana orchids, a vibrant purple orchid that was the show stopper of the entire floral lineup. These were perfectly paired with a variety of tremendous garden roses, ranunculus, and textured greens.

The design was centered around their venue The Orpheum Theatre in New Orleans. Whose original character was restored after Katrina. The teal blue and gold accents in the space were complimentary to the lush color palette. Two large linear designs were built for the central tables in the space, these sat beautifully with the elegant candle design provided by Firefly Ambiance. The addition of candles, a lounge, and decorative linens in the space really brought the whole design together. A special shout-out is in order to the ladies at Spanish Oaks for their design work and coordination of the entire day.

Our favorite touch was our gorgeous couple’s engagement photos placed as playbills throughout the building! So adorable!
