Never was there a wedding so perfect, as the wedding John and Lindsay had! However, due to crazy changes during covid times, it almost didn’t happen, at least not like this!

The wedding world of 2020 & 2021 was a turbulent time where guest counts shifted day by day, events were postponed, moved, or worse canceled! Needless to say, we were constantly on our toes, ready to shift with the next gust of wind that blew our way. But this lovely, determined couple was bound to marry and in the spring of 2021, they did! Nearly a week before their event, however, restrictions changed, and their original venue was no longer able to accept them and their guests count! Thank goodness for the spectacular team at Spanish Oaks Events who sprang into action and found a new spot for them to say “I do”. The Elm’s Mansion, one of our all-time favorite New Orleans wedding venues was miraculously available and the show was able to go on and we have to say, it was a seamless transition. The day was spectacular, the outdoor space was everything this beautiful wedding needed to shine! I can’t stress enough how important it is to have a seasoned team of spectacular vendors on your side come wedding day. You never know what can happen!
